“There are a lot of people taking NR now.
What does that data look like?
Would you expect to see big effects in people taking NR in general or is it going to be just a subset of the population?
I know we’ve got these clinical trials that we’ve already sort of talked about.
But, in the much larger population of people who are taking NR supplements, what if anything…?
DR. Charles Brenner:
“There’s kind of a performance group of people, and there’s kind of an aging group of people.
And, so, for example Rudy Tanzi (Alzheimer’s Expert) and I both advise chromadex.
And, Rudy, during the Bill Belichick era was literally always on the sidelines of the New England Patriots.
And I was photographed with Belichick as well (Link).
So it’s widely understood that the Patriots were on Niagen (NR).
And, so, those are young people — well except Tom Brady was 40 — but those are generally young people that get a bruising on Sunday, have to practice again on Tuesday, and then are playing again on the next weekend.
And, so, there’s people that take NR in order to boost their repair capacity — which I think is a really important theme.
And then there’s healthy aging…”
