Most of us hate needles. But if that were the only way to raise our NAD levels, many of us might embrace NAD IV drips (FAQs). Fortunately, NAD expert Dr. Charles Brenner, who discovered Nicotinamide Riboside “NR” (FAQs) (Reviews) as an NAD boosting vitamin says you don’t need to choose the needle option. He explained further on a recent episode of Dr Will Cole’s podcast “The Art of Being Well“:

At the 20:40 mark of the podcast below:

“…NAD drips

I sure wouldn’t do it.

…NAD — I don’t know what’s in the dirt bag.

I don’t know who made that.

I don’t know what the standards are.

But even if you’re dripping pure NAD, the NAD has be degraded back to NR before it can get into any cells.

Plus, NR is orally available.

…there’s no reason to drip NAD and have NAD break down…

You don’t have to get it that way.

If you’ve decided that you want to supplement, you can supplement with an orally available supplement.

You don’t need to have a needle in your arm.

I don’t like needles.

…I don’t see the use of case of taking a vitamin by IV”
