We know that Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-Shing is a savvy investor. He’s reportedly made $10B+ on an early investment in ZOOM (ticker: ZM). But does he use ZOOM? We don’t know. What about his investment in small-cap Chromadex? Does he personally take their supplement Nicotinamide Riboside “NR” (FAQs) (Reviews)?

“Li Ka-shing, one of Hong Kong’s best known tycoons in his nineties, puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to fighting ageing.
He has been taking Tru Niagen, a “healthy ageing supplement” made by one of his investees, since he was first introduced to it more than two years ago, according to Frank Jaksch, the co-founder and chairman of ChromaDex.”

RaisingNAD Comment: It’s fair to assume that a 90+ year old with endless financial resources and access to the best medical minds would’ve properly vetted any dietary health supplement and weighed its benefits prior to taking it.
That said, here’s more evidence of his and his team’s belief in Chromadex and Nicotinamide Riboside (NR):
Li’s investment arm Horizons Ventures recently donated $1.6M worth of Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) to health-care workers treating COVID patients in Hong Kong hospitals. See HERE.
Horizons also promotes Chromadex and NR at the top of its homepage menu under the heading “Fight COVID-19”.
Li’s drugstore chain Watsons numbering 14,000+ throughout the world also goes above and beyond to promote NR in their stores since forging a partnership in 2017. The initial agreement is here.
And finally of course two of Li’s deputies from Horizons are on the Chromadex board of directors — Wendy Yu and Tony Lau.

Ka-Shing is 92 now. Good that Horizon mentions that NR is an anti-coronavirus supplement, but SARS-CoV-2 is nearly extinct in HK, China, Singapore, etc… the word needs to get out in the US, India, EU, etc.
